Lisette Lombé is a multi-faceted Belgian-Congolese artist. She creates a wealth of poetic objects – texts, collages, performances, fixtures, etc. – and takes us on a journey between Europe and Africa, to the frontiers of eroticism and activism.

For several years she has shared her loved for poetry by organising writing workshops, which have taken her from Belgium to Iraq, with stops in Congo, Senegal, and Morocco.
A founding member of L-SLAM, an intergenerational and multicultural collective of female poets, Lisette Lombé won second place in slam poetry in 2015 at the Prix Paroles Urbaines (Urban Poetry Awards).
Her first book, La magie du burn-out (The Magic of Burning Out) (Image Publique Ed.), invites readers to rediscover their professional identity in a few poetic breaks.

n 28 October, the Voix De Femmes Festival will put you in the spotlight with an open-mic slam! For the occasion, we’ve invited Lisette Lombé, a multi-faceted Belgian-Congolese artist (author, slam poet, visual artist).
