Trajectoires Dissidentes is a workshop-based initiative led by D’une Certaine Gaieté that saw a series of radiophonic workshops focusing on female figures whose voices are not always heard but whose experiences have nevertheless had a profound effect on the political, artistic and social spheres hosted between March and June 2019 as part of the Sorcières initiative.
Trajectoires Dissidentes 1 and 2 both tackle taboo and/or ignored experiences, and this second part of the project is based on the work of 6 women who have worked both individually and as a group to produce a series of radiophonic documentaries centred around various forms of dissidence. Incorporating both anecdotal element and major historical landmarks, the participants were called upon to produce various types of intimate, political and poetic counter-narratives designed to give women a voice.
The resulting sound portraits will be played during this waterborne listening session aboard the Armande, after which there will be time for a question and answer session between the audience and the participants about the work carried out, the themes, the methodology, the tools used and the experience gained.
