Jessie

Graduated with a master’s degree in Sociology with a major focus on Culture, and initially specialized in Urban Cultures, Jessie Varin has had an extensive experience in the cultural sector (music, cinema, events, theatre, etc.) until 10 years ago, when she discovered a barge on the banks of Paris. She bought it with three associates and started La Nouvelle Seine, where she is artistic director.

In 9 seasons, this atypical, intimate, and socially engaged space has established itself in the Parisian landscape. A true incubator, La Nouvelle Seine supports artists in the creation and development of their shows and brings together comedy shows, one-person shows, shows aimed at young audiences and Burlesque, consciously following a feminist artistic line. Artists who have performed here include Fanny Ruwet, Audrey Vernon, Shirley Souagnon, Sophie-Marie Larroui, Tania Dutel, Guillaume Meurice, Bun Hay Mean, … 

Next to this, Jessie Varin has created Bonne Etoile Production three years ago, a project that brings together artistic direction, management, creative production, and public relations. Total expertise in the world of entertainment and comedy.
