After earning a degree in Romance Literature and a Master's degree in Book Trades, Katia Lanero Zamora has worked in both publishing and audiovisual. She writes novels—including Les Ombres d'Esver / The Shadows of Esver (2018) and La Machine /The Machine (2021 and 2023), published by ActuSF—as well as short stories, and screenplays.

She accompanies other authors in the development of their stories (novels, short stories, film and series scripts). While the formats, genres, and universes of her work vary, her characters are fuelled by the same revolt.
