Bledarte

Bledarte is a bilingual collective from Brussels, whose mission is to decolonize mentalities through arts and culture. Its members are DJs, event managers, artists, and makers. Fuelled by the need to feel represented, they have, since 2018, been creating physical and digital spaces dedicated to thinkers, artists, and clubbers of colour. Curating and producing parties, organizing DJ’ing workshops for women and non-binary people, and intergenerational theatre workshops... their alternative and accessible approach to nightlife and the cultural scene comes in opposition to an artistic world that is too often elitist.
