Living Memories
- Meeting
The project was born during the last edition of the festival, on the occasion of our anniversary: Mémoires Vives/Living Memories is a special form of transmission, an echo chamber for fragments of the small history of our association, for the struggles and resistance waged by women throughout history and around the world, past and present.
Mémoires Vives/Living Memories is a series of ritualised meetings, agoras, where women from different cultural perspectives, from the partner associations of Voix De Femmes, and Festival artists, meet and exchange ideas on questions of transmission.
This year, Catherine Wilkin and Alice Tahon (artists associated with Voix De Femmes) are inviting participants to explore the question of intergenerational silences. We'll be looking at the gaps they leave, and at the imaginary worlds they open.
