PATU
Taking part in
Based in Berlin, PATU is an illustrator, cartoonist and comic book author. In her work, we see her commitments reflected: A short history of feminism (Die kleine Geschichte des Feminismus) with Antje Schrupp in 2015, Homestories, a two-volume comic book dedicated to the Korean diaspora in Vienna in 2017 and, more recently, Aquarium, in 2020: a comic book dedicated to the exclusion and stereotypical expectations that people of colour face in the world of comic books.
In general, it seems that PATU can be found dishevelled, behind a small hedge among climbing plants, immersed in a discussion with wild cats, exchanging dreams, fanzines, and drawings that break the asphalt.
