Mansfield.TYA

Mansfield.TYA is the earth-shattering collaboration between Julia Lanoë (Rebeka Warrior, Sexy Sushi & KOMPROMAT), poet at night and producer by day, and Carla Pallone (VACΛRME), composer and baroque violinist turned multi-instrumentalist. Formed in Nantes over 15 years ago, the duo offers a minimalist universe from the outset, tinged with punk, electronics and classics while following the red (or black) thread of poetry. Between 2005 and 2015, they released 4 albums (June, Seul au bout de 23 secondes, Nyx, Corpo Inferno) and 5 EPs (May, June, Mon Amoureuse, Fuck, Des coups, des cœurs). 2021 marks their return with the arrival of the majestic Monument Ordinaire, a record as mesmerising as it is heady, with electronic hues, but also more than that. Meticulously crafted, it shares the happy melancholy of death as an escape to celebrate the furious love of life, and the cries of the heart that make us dance and sing as if our life depended on it (and it does).

It is also the first release from the label WARRIORECORDS, founded by Rebeka Warrior and created as a parent company, bringing together techno, sound poetry, EBM, melancholic songs and experimental music,... under the same black flag.
